About This Episode:

Consecrate yourself to God. Do it today! God has called us to set ourselves apart from the ways of the world and give ourselves wholly to Him (Joshua 3:5). Learn why consecration is vital to our lives as Christians, and how it’s often the reason we so easily miss out on everything God has to offer.

10 Reasons You Should Consecrate Yourself to God:
  • You can do it today.
  • Consecrated people are more spiritually mature people.
  • You will see the work of Jesus in everything!
  • The power of consecration will change your life for the better.
  • Revival is coming, and you will experience it. God will clean up and clear up your heart and mind.
  • Immerse yourself in God. God’s grace and mercy will overtake you.
  • Revival makes your life easier.
  • You will have spiritual discernment to know when it’s God and when it’s not.
  • A better future. If you consecrate yourself today, God will do great things tomorrow.
  • Help advance God’s Kingdom by actively participate in the awesome will of God and what He is going to do next!

“The power of consecration causes you to be able to participate and see what God is doing.”

A Note on Revival:

Revival is a powerful season in your life where God transforms you from the inside out. Your heart, mind, soul, and strength are renewed, cleaned up, and brought to life again. But consecrating yourself to God and running after revival is your choice. Whether you see the miraculous work of God and participate in advancing His Kingdom is up to you. It’s not something you can pass off for tomorrow. It’s a today decision, and then it’s a decision for every day.

Mark 6:45-52 (NIV)

Jesus Walks on the Water

45 Immediately Jesus made his disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to Bethsaida, while he dismissed the crowd.
46 After leaving them, he went up on a mountainside to pray.
47 Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land.
48 He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them,
49 but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out,
50 because they all saw him and were terrified.
Immediately he spoke to them and said, “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.”
51 Then he climbed into the boat with them, and the wind died down. They were completely amazed,
52 for they had not understood about the loaves; their hearts were hardened.

  • 07:12 How many times in your lifetime do you think Jesus came to you and you just didn’t know it?
  • 09:53 Consecration doesn’t make you perfect. It’s a decision to keep your brain, mind, and heart where it belongs—on God—because you want God.
