About This Episode:

Life is difficult sometimes, but we have the ultimate advantage in our lives: God. How do we grab hold of the victorious life God offers us?  (See Psalm 37:3-6).

Step 1: Trust in God

Trust is having confidence in God. You must demonstrate that trust.  Take your mind off your problem, and do something good to show God you trust Him with your problem. Trust cures worry. Then “pasture” yourself by chewing on God’s Word. Keep calm. Stay steady. Don’t get distracted.

Step 2: Delight in the Lord

Expect happiness, contentment, and joy from God. Redirect your emotions, your delight, and your desires toward God (instead of toward yourself), expecting a return. “…And he will give you the desires of your heart.”

Step 3: Commit Your Way to the Lord

Go for broke. Give your all. No matter what the circumstances! Then God will clear the clouds from your life, and the sun will shine.

The Bible shows us the way to live the victorious life at all times, and never falter. Life’s hardships and challenges will come and go, but God and His eternal life are here to stay. Victorious life is ours!
