Today we can look around and see the rumblings of revival. There is excitement and renewal happening. But it might not be TRUE revival. True revival is not just longer, louder church services. So what is it?
Let’s go back to Genesis 1. Why did God create man and woman and put them in the Garden? Lucifer was the prideful archangel who led a third of the angels in rebellion against God and fell to the earthly realm. So when God created man and woman and put them on earth, He knowingly put them in the devil’s territory. Why?
Lucifer’s rebellion left a hole in Heaven. God was unwilling to forget it but wanted to fix it. He purposely created man and woman and placed them in the Satan’s territory so that they would eventually be a humanity that would not be tempted or fall for the devil’s schemes. Adam and Eve did fall, but eventually Jesus the perfect man came. He won in the devil’s territory! His victory restored God’s honor, dignity, and name.

And through Jesus, we as humans can be be born again. And once we are born again, we can stand up for God and do the only thing He cannot do for Himself—restore His honor!
Revival is needed now more than ever because the people of God are cooling off. We need to stop cooling off, and let the fire of God start burning in us, so that God is once again honored in His church. It’s time to make God our number one priority! We must come to the point that we don’t want anything else but Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of God.
Now is the season of the reviving power of God. Pray for that season…so that God overtakes us and overcomes everything.
7 Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven.
9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.
10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down.
11 They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
12 Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.”
1:01When we really get struck with the power of God and it’s real revival, nothing else matters. People change their priorities.
2:49Now is the season of the reviving power of God. I want to live in that season. I am praying for the season of revival…so it overtakes me and overcomes everything else.
3:52The priority of God is everything. It takes over everything. There’s nothing more important and nothing more you want to do.
11:41We’re not here to cool off. We’re here to be on fire.
11:44We’ve started cooling off, getting lazy, and losing our first love. We need the revival fire of God so that God’s being honored again in His church.
12:00God created humanity…so that we could restore His honor.
