Are you ready for war against the enemy? God has already called us to be His people and has established certain ways and beliefs in us.
In Psalm 144, the warrior king David praises “the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.” This not only applies to present-day physical warfare, but also to spiritual warfare. You must remember that God is your source! He trains you, and you must take hold of that training from the inside out.
But you must ask yourself if you equipped to go into battle. Are you in position: exerting your faith, going to church, reading your Bible, praying fervently and consistently, and believing in God and His mighty power?
Fact is, you don’t have to be fearful of the war. God has trained your hands for worship and warfare. You were made for this hour.
The weapons of our warfare are mighty through God so that we can pull down strongholds and capture thoughts (2 Corinthians 10:4). What does God do? He is on our side and empowers us. God makes us victorious. He performs miracles TODAY on the battlefield. God makes a way where there seems to be no way.
Now we have to carry on the message and attitude of victory in God. Be a carrier of the Holy Spirit. Help others get trained up in God and be ready for the battle.
Psalm 144:1 (NIV)
Praise be to the Lord my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle.
Exodus 17:10-13 (NIV)
10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. 11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. 12 When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. 13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.
2 Corinthians 10: 3-5 (NIV)
3 For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. 4 The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. 5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
